The Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts departmental examinations for government employees and officers working in the Tamilnadu government services. The purpose of these examinations is to test an employee’s knowledge and skills in their respective field and to determine their eligibility for promotion to higher ranks or positions
Veterinary Assistant Surgeons working in the Tamilnadu Government Animal Husbandry Department are also needed to pass the following two papers for probation and promotion to higher rank or positions.
- Animal husbandry Departmental Test ( Test code no. 162)
- The Account Test for Executive Officers ( Test code no. 152)

Documents needed for application
- Passport size photo (scanned copy, size must be between 30kb to 40kb)
- Signature of the applicant (scanned copy, size must be between 20kb to 30kb)
- Employee Number (IFHRMS Number)
A new separate candidate ID and profile must be created using a candidate’s mobile number, this profile is different from your regular TNPSC user account by which you apply for different government posts.
